  • Our organically crafted Balsam Fir Essential Oil is steam distilled from the aromatic green needles and twigs of the Abies balsamea evergreen tree growing in northeastern Canada. The oil has a distinctively woodsy, balsamic, evergreen aroma and a very light, clean terpenic top note like reminiscent of freshly crushed fir needles.

    The Balsam Fir is a native evergreen conifer well-adapted to the cold climates of the northern United States and Canada. Its symmetrical spire-like crown, shining dark green color and sweet, turpentine fragrance created by the abundant resin in its bark and needles have made it a favorite Christmas tree for hundreds of years.
