Our Passion Fruit Seed oil is cold pressed also know as Maracuja oil.
Maracuja Oil is a superior emollient rich in vitamin C, calcium and phosphorus. The high content of essential fatty acids and light texture of Maracuja helps to heal dry, chapped and cracked skin, balances the moisture in skin, and it conditions hair as well. Maracuja is a popular massage oil and frequently used in aromatherapy. The anti-inflammatory properties help to decrease muscle tension when combined with massage.
Safety-When using pure maracuja oil, always dilute it with a carrier oil such as olive oil or coconut oil to prevent adverse skin reactions. Always skin patch test prior to use to check for allergies.
