ROSALINA ESSENTIAL OIL

Our organically crafted Rosalina Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the tall Melaleuca ericifolia shrub, a member of the Myrtle family, growing wild in the swampy forests of Australia. Commonly known as Swamp Paperbark, the Melaleuca ericifolia shrub have a rosemary-like appearance and grows primarily in coastal regions where it is able to withstand permanently wet soil, salty conditions, and shade.

This glistening, refreshing essential oil was traditionally used by Aboriginal people as medicine, while the flowers were infused to make herbal beverages. The aroma and personality of this essential oil is bright, Eucalyptus-like and suggests uses within soaps, cremes, lotions, balms, and massage oil blends. Within aromatherapy and natural fragrancing applications, Rosalina Essential Oil possesses a calming, sweet, floral, rose-like, woody, slightly eucalyptus-like aroma that shares a similarity to that of Rosewood Essential Oil (also known as Bois-de-Rose Oil) due to its higher composition of Linalool.

Also similar to Spike Lavender, Rosalina Essential Oil has a high content of both Linalool and 1,8-Cineole, but without the Camphor. Linalool is known for both its soothing, calming effects, and strong antimicrobial properties. Rosalina is also known as the Lavender Tea Tree.
