Our organically crafted Rosemary Essential Oil is steam distilled from richly aromatic flowers, leaves, and twigs of the Rosmarinus officinalis grown in the Spanish countryside. Our very fine, complex Rosemary Oil has an intense, fresh, sweet-herbaceous aroma with a somewhat minty-green undertones becoming a clean, woody-balsamic body note in the drydown.

Rosemary derives its name from the Latin ros marinus, or dew of the sea, which refers to the fact that it grows near coasts. It was sacred to the ancient Greeks and Romans who used it as a symbol of regeneration and employed it for many purposes such as to drive away evil spirits and repel moths in clothes chests, to fumigate sick rooms, to flavor ale and wine, and to reduce the spreading of fevers.
