Tarragon Essential Oil

The essential oil has a sweet, almost anise-like, green-herbaceous, slightly spicy aroma.
Artemisia dracunculus is widespread in the wild across much of Eurasia and North America, and is cultivated for culinary and medicinal purposes. Botanically known as Artemisia dracunculus, where the Latin word Dracunculus means Little Dragon
. Tarragon, indeed the Little Dragon
, acts powerfully against a range of illnesses and this may be the reason behind this plant being called as the King of herbs
in France.
