in Korea and Tsubaki
(pronounced soo-baw-kee) in Japan. The camellia flowers are prized for their beauty, and vary in color from white, pink, red with plenty of variations in between.
Camellia japonica is the official state flower of Alabama and is also known as the Rose of Winter
